New Service 

To establish telephone service, we require:

    - Complete and return to us the enclosed Telephone Application for Service
    - Must have a valid 911 service address
    - Establish a CPNI password for your telephone account  (New FCC regulation)
    - Provide security deposit or two credit references

Pay a security deposit  or 2 written credit references from former utilities faxed to us at  802-439-5600
(Deposit held for 12 months of on-time consecutive payments then returned to your account as a payment. Interest rate mandated by the Public Service Board)

Billing Cycle runs from the  26th of one month to the 25th of the next.  Customer are billed one month in advance and payments are due by the 15th of each month.  When you establish service, you will be prorated at a daily rate until the next billing, as well as, billed for the upcoming month of service.

Your only free number is 439 to 439 exchange.

Customers may choose Long Distance companies from a list of carriers.  Topsham Telephone offers several different options of our own long distance and with the convenience of having it listed on one bill. 

 

Topsham Telephone Company, INC. is an Eligible Telecom Carrier (ETC) and provides:

Voice grade access to the Public Switch Network
Local usage at no additional cost (with in 439 exchange) 
Access to Emergency Services 
Toll Blocking

All Bundles apply to Residential Customers only and include the Basic Phone Service Monthly Rate of $18.00.  Taxes and surcharges are not included in bundle prices.  Package prices reflect the per month charge for bundles.  Does not include regional calls.  Long distance minutes are charged at $0.10 per minute for minutes over bundled amount.  Customers who subscribe to a My Choice Plan and an additional service of Internet and/or TV are eligible for a monthly discount. Some restrictions apply.

Topsham Telephone Long Distance Plan  charge is:  

                         $3.95 per month plan charge, $0.05 per minute out-of-state calls /$0.09 per minute in-state calls

Topsham Telephone NO PLAN - no monthly charge, $0.15 per minute for in and out of state
